Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
On March 17, 2011, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued an order granting Magnum Gas Storage a certificate of public convenience and necessity under section 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) to construct and operate a natural gas storage facility and header pipeline. Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
On February 22, 2011 the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) issued a Decision Record granting Magnum Gas Storage a Right of Way Grant for the header pipeline. Magnum will construct and operate a 61.5 mile header pipeline from its storage facility near Delta to Goshen, Utah. State of Utah
Magnum Gas Storage has been granted all necessary permits for construction and operation from the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration, Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Environmental Quality. Copies of all state permits can be found in Magnum's Implementation Plan under Docket CP10-22-000 at http://www.ferc.gov/docs-filing/elibrary.asp.
On March 24, 2011 the Millard County Board of County Commissioners awarded Magnum the necessary Conditional Use Permits for the construction and operation of the Magnum Gas Storage Project. Copies of these permits can be found at the Millard County Planning Office located in Delta, Utah.
Magnum is committed to maintaining environmental compliance during construction and operation of the Magnum Gas Storage Project. Information related to Magnum's environmental compliance during Project construction will be available to the public via a third-party website. A hardcopy archive can also be accessed during construction at the Fillmore, Delta and Nephi public libraries.
